I felt this way for years of going to different churches and still leaving with nothing. But that was because the true gospel wasn’t being preached and it wasn’t until I found a true bible teacher who inspired me to read the bible for myself and test everything that I came to the truth of the knowledge of Christ. Now I attend online service and eagerly look forward to church every week. Praise God 🙏

It’s painful that most of the theology i’ve learnt was from YouTube not from my local church.😓

Edit: In case y’all are wondering why, most churches around me are prosperity gospel churches. The pastors there preach that we will be rich and have cars in Jesus’ name, which is funny because the richest people are the pastors and the parking lot has not really changed much contrary to what was promised.

I literally just went back to church yesterday, after about a year. I can say I felt and got nothing from the service either. I really have felt that my own bible studies at home have been more fulfilling.

Boy I got the total opposite. Church was amazing, we had praise in the parking lot where we had church on the grounds, the parking lot, in our cars and it was amazing. My mother got sooo happy at one point, she was praising God sooo much. I'm so sorry if some of you had a totally different experience. It was such an amazing worship for my family.

This is why I am so happy our church remained open during COVID because we have actually grown during 2020 without missing a beat. Worship music. Expository preaching. Gospel presentation. Fellowship. Repeat each Sunday.

To be honest, I learn so much more listening to you than I do at church. I don’t go expecting to be entertained or with a “give me” mentality, but if I’m going to go, I would like to hear something I’ve never hear before. I feel like a lot of people are lowkey missing the point of the video but I definitely agree. It’s easy to say the church isn’t doing this, that, and the third but sometimes it really is just us hindering ourselves 😔. Great video ❤️
