I was too tired when I watched this, but that's fine: I've added it to my list of videos to watch again later; in this case after I've imbibed more secondary material on Socrato. Yours is among the channels I work my way through for two reasons, to acquaint myself more thoroughly with views I disagree with, and to pick up ideas which I value or maybe just find interesting. This video definitely has something added to the plus side of my evaluation of your channel. I don't like Socrato - I think they have influenced culture badly. But the idea that some of their ideas may stem from perfectionism resonates with personal struggles, and could certainly help to explain. Though I'd be curious to know where you have that idea (and the accompanying claim about the Greeks in general) from; whether it is well-founded or not. But it still is quite intriguing. Thanks.

what Plato was getting at in all his dialogues was the fact that a very few have knowledge and most have only opinions, which is like a guess at true knowledge. It was this ignorance which was the cause or human suffering. Plato was the only true philosopher, All others are rendered opinions. Plato gave us true philosophy. You can take all your philosopy books and trash them now, Just keep Plato.
