It's a pretty chinese culture - densed game and the translations are.. uhh. they are there I guess.

Like there are so many things I doubt non-Chinese can understand just from the in game texts. For one Jinzhou is not a city. It's a huge region/Province/or American State. In modern China if you see a place ending with "Zhou" (Chinese character meaning "state") it's a city. However this game draws elements from traditional Chinese culture in pre-modern time. A "Zhou" can have many cities and sub-territories. Jinzhou is a huge region with many many sub-regions as shown in the map. In the Chinese version of the game, Jinzhou the city is labeled "Jinzhou city" but in English it's just Jinzhou. It's the administrative center of most of the 1.0 wuwa map which are all Jinzhou.

And that is just one thing out of many things about this game people might not understand. Maybe I should start making videos about them🤔

We’re just treated as this invincible messiah (Scar was the saving grace) but as you travel around the map, it’s clearly a post apocalyptic world that’s still at war

After ending the main story for release I must say that we'll need aster to sum it up. Kuro is good at making flashy combat scenes, but in terms of storytelling... let's say that "awful" can be considered an understatement in this case.

Huanglung - Teyvat
Jinzhou - Region (i.e. Mondstandt, Liyue)
Sentinel - Archons
Lament - Abyss.
Resonators - Vision holders
Forte - Constellation
