We subscribed to your channel in prep for our April 2023 trip to Portugal. Absolutely the BEST trip we have ever done, and I've been to a LOT of places while in the Service. My wife and I traveled throughout Lisboa, Cascais, Sintra, and then into the villages of Palmela, Setubal, and Azeitao. Spectacular weather, super friendly folks, and what we'd say is relatively modest pricing for wonderful food and wine, made the trip so memorable. We have stayed in wonderful AirBnbs in both Madiera and Portuguese mainland.
A traditional windmill with all modern amenities on the outskirts of a village close to Sintra, with completely modern interiors. Check the AirBnb reviews.
Or Pazo in Northern Portugal.
Love it.
If you go somewhere mega popular like the fairytale Sintra go in May or September, avoid the heat and the crowds.
