Thank you for this post. I have always been confused by the Church's stand that is you die with even one unconfessed mortal sin you will be sent to hell. You don't know how much comfort and relief you have given me. I now really want to purchase Maria Simms book and pray more for the Souls.

To whom much is given, much is required. I imagine that the sins i will most regret and most suffer for are when I refused the graces our Lady bestowed on me. I can’t imagine not going to purgatory. I do my First Saturday’s over and over and am trying to do the First Fridays absolutely because I expect my judgement to be harsh (and justified) and my only hope is whatever consolation I can bring to Jesus and Mary during my life.

This video helped me so much today as I’m faced with a family member in hospice that had been lost with addiction for many years. I have repeatedly tried to help him yet judged him all those years. Now he is dying and I pray for forgiveness. I pray that God is with him in the hour of his death.

Iam not a Christian but i would like to pray for the souls in purgatory especially the flame of love prayer . Will the souls be released from purgatory if non baptised person pray for them ?

We die, and * poof * we're perfect and can go to Heaven. That sounds so absurd to me.

oh what kind of talk is that ?....where was that women all her life?....it is the duty of priest to "rightly" admonish the sinner when he is certain of that ...otherwise vice would be prevelant with it's consequences....I really can't understand why we are given examples of bad people who make it at the last minute, and pious people who are punished even though they did thier best to do what is right...that is encourging

People who commit suicide shouldn't be punished I have fought this daily for the last ten years why not cause I have a mental problem but cause I was abused so badly as aa child rest of my life got destroyed my x brainwashed my kids to hate me I've felt suicidal ever since as I feel life isn't worth living when u loose éverything that's of value the pain is unbearable and its the pain and consequences one wants and end too I suffer daily still from consequences i cannot bear resulting from child abuse
