I've been there. It was supposed to be a weekend strip and redeck. Turned into a 2 week rim joist replacement, fix rot on the rough opening framing, replace rotted sheathing, sure up the engineered joists that had rot, new door, new ledger, ice and water, actually flash the damn thing and THEN redeck. Looks great now though.

I'm trying to think back on how many times I've been asked to replace a cracked tile that ended up taking weeks and costing thousands. Almost finished another one. Lord what a journey it's been.
