There was a powerful quote at the beginning of the film. It said something about "rejoice in youth". I was struck by that line but I've forgotten it and lost my English copy of the film. Does anyone remember the entire quotation?

As for the part of the enemy, believing everyone wants what they THINK is the best for Japan, is actually very easy to accept. Humans are by their nature, good creatures. Meaning even the most notorious villains of our history, are only villains because we have a different opinion of what is good. They themselves, truly believe, what they are doing is good. We can see that when reading their memoirs for example.

This movie incredibly shows real tense and atmosphere on the day of Japan’s surrender in 1945. No comparison.
