Why does the "One New Man" look, act, and live like a gentile? Why do believers (christians) follow the practice of pagans and not the practice of the people of God as found in the Law of Moses? In fact, the majority of Christian practice and belief is the exact opposite of what is recorded in the Bible!

Pagan festivals, idolatrous items, and gentile practices are strictly forbidden to the people of God and IT DOES NOT MATTER what and of these things mean to the individual. Christmas and christmas trees (all with everything else) are pagan and forbidden. Santa is really Oden whose son is Thor! Halloween is thoroughly pagan and absolutely forbidden - and it doesn't matter if you call it "trunk or treat" or "harvest fest". A rose by any other name is still a rose. Stop following the worship practice of the nations and start following the Will of HaShem!

I’m at the 17:50 mark and I realized that we are taught by the sages that the family dinner table is the altar so bringing in a Christmas tree and putting it next to the altar in our home is wrong

I learned about all the pagan roots to these days over 20 years ago when my husband and I started homeschooling our two children. I was appalled, but sadly wasn't ready to be confronted with the truth at the time, so I put it on the back shelf of my mind. Thankfully, Father was not willing to let us continue in that sin, and He mercifully confronted both my husband and I with the truth again years later. Praise His Name, both our children also saw the truth when we explained it to them, and we have long since walked away from those pagan days to start keeping Father's appointment times (to the best of our understanding and ability). We have no regrets and are thoroughly blessed and full of shalom! Hallelu et Adonai! By the way, we have learned of an assembly that includes a "rabbi on the shelf" at Chanukah, which is like the elf on a shelf of xmas. We were appalled! Nope, nope, nope.

I have a full length white beard, and was told by a man who sold X-mas trees that he would pay me to be a Santa Claus, and would buy the suit. All I had to do was just go around and HO HO. I told him the reason I have a beard is because the Bible says all men should have a beard. He didn't want to hear that. As I walk past hit business in a shopping center parking lot, I saw one price tag for a tree..$350.

Why does the “one new man” have to live like a gentile?? Why can’t the one new man live a life of faith like a Jew….like ALL the biblical heroes (examples)….like Messiah?? Why is the “one new man” more like Goliath than David? Just asking…..
