Humanist couple Jane Shaw and Brendan Devlin spoke to ITV News about their upcoming humanist wedding as part of a feature on marriage law reform. Under English and Welsh law, they must have an additional, civil ceremony for their marriage to have legal recognition. The couple spoke about why having a humanist wedding is important to them, what makes it special, and why it should be legally recognised.

A real no brainer, we should be brought in to line with Scotland. Our own declared marriage, a handfasting in a wild flower meadow, was an intensely personal experience and everyone felt it one of the most sincere they had attended. We approached the civil ceremony some time later with a degree of resentment, but in fairness to the registrar she was very sympathetic to our views and as flexible as format allowed. I suspect not everybody would be so lucky. Best of luck for the campaign.

Hi, can you do something about removing "the cross" from Southampton city council's logo. It features the "bargate" in the city centre, but instead of the arrow slit, which is on the bargate, the logo replaces it with a cross. This is not right! It's fake, it's propaganda! Please raise awareness of this, and probably many other council logos
