Nice sentiment and it is the way things should be for human beings on this teensy bit of cosmic dust, but we haven't reached that yet for all human beings unfortunately.

I like this! I have perhaps one quibble: _"Every human being is born free and with equal rights."_ is a factually untrue statement. Rather, we need to strive for a world in which it _is_ true, which is part of the reason why humanist institutions exists in the first place.

Though I guess that might not have worked artistically. 😄

Some of us in the faith community can subscribe to these sentiments as well.

Nice cute video. It's just one unsubstantiated assertion after another. How can anyone watch this and take it seriously?

“Born free” - really? It is all specious spaghetti speak - it sounds all so great and oh, so laudable on the surface while betraying an astoundingly shallow apprehension of things as they in fact are! If only life were as simple as you and your fellow clansmen (and clanswomen) make it out to be Mr Fry! Please stop smoking whatever it is that you’re smoking - it’s seriously messing with your mind!

Just a minute of unfounded assertions.

I love hearing humanists take about human value, meaning and responsibility... when their worldview has no objective foundation for claiming any of these virtues.
