This explains why as a melanated person I tend to sweat more than other species of humans. My melanin shields the nucleus (genetic codes) from UV light by dissipating the light waves as heat. (i.e internal conversion). I always wondered why I would sweat more than my friends with very little melanin! Heat glows! That's why the more melanin you have the more you glow! We glow like the SUN! Wow thank you for this video!

Why even have melanocytes? Wouldn't it be more efficient if the Keratinocytes produced melanin? Seems like a it's time and energy consuming pathway (I haven't watched the other video yet so i apologize if you covered it already.
