I ended up buying a pair of EV Evolve 50(in White), and I am extremely pleased. I bought them with use at home(guitar looping practice) and a few small gigs for church. No sooner than I got them, I was asked to supply sound for a church service in a large auditorium(seats 520) and they were MORE than enough for a band with Acoustic Drum Set, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Keyboard, Acoustic Guitar and two Vocals. Miking up the drums was done with a Beta 52 and single Rode NT5, Bass, Guitars and Keys all went direct. They were mixed through an Allen & Heath QuPAC mixer via AB168 Stage Box and monitoring was done wire via Behringer Headphone amp and wired IEMs. Not only were the Evolve 50s loud enough, but the sound was incredibly smooth with very punchy bass. I was genuinely expecting the pair of Evolve 50s would not be enough. And boy I was surprised. There were even quite a few positive comments on the quality of sound. So yeah, I'm glad I bought the Electrovoice Evolve 50s.

I went to guitar center & played some Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins & Euge Groove through many column speakers with subs. I was listening for Highs, Mids, Midlows & Lows, clarity, punch & headroom. I played songs from these artist for close to flat mixes. Yes I used a cord from my iPhone & used Wave Files.
I played the music through Harbinger MLS900 & MLS1000, EV 30 & 50, Bose L1 Pro8, JBL PRX1 & the Yamaha Stagepas 1k. All flat, No eq & went from low volume to medium to cranked.
The salesman shut the doors & let me have at it.
The EV’s stood out with a great even frequency response with some midlows with the EV’s while the rest had little to none, highs were crisp with EV’s & the vocals, saxophones, guitars & keys sounded excellent. Bass GTR & kick were sweet also. Snare was excellent with the mids & highs. Nice snap.
For me personally I prefer the EV’s hands down.
Hoping to hear the RCF Evox 8 & 12, DB Es1203 ES 1002 & 503, HK Polar 10 & 12’s, LD Maui44’s. Yes there’s a price difference but you get what u pay for. It also depends on the size of event.

I bought the Bose L1 Pro 8 and use it with Roland V Drums. When I use my headphones, the sound from streaming music and playing the kit is very clear. When I switch to the Bose, it will tend to drop out the streaming music volume and the drum sound stays level. How do I adjust the speaker so it doesn't lower the volume on the streaming music?

HI Nathan & Coltin, great job on this review! Question: which line array system would you recommend to accommodate 2 mic vocals AND 2 guitars, without having to add an external mixer? Thanks! Dee

How would these work as home theatre speakers with a flat screen hooked to them either directly or with a small mixing board?? Seems like it would be great! :)

Do you typically use these in pairs for gigs or just one? It seems strange that they don’t come in pairs, one with mixer, one without. So if you do buy two for the stage, they both have the full mixer?

Can I use a pair of Behringer C200 for parties at my place? Or should I go for a traditional setup?

I have a church. Room is 20 feet wide, 60 foot long. Right now we are using high wattage QSC speakers.
Would these sound better?

Line array is an adaptation of fresnel light theory taken into sound

Hello Guys, What about a small house party with about 40/50 people (outdoor) will the Behringer C200 do the job? Is it loud enough for occasional DJ applications?

This video seems a little older and didnt include the Bose F1 812 column. How does that compare for a rock band that wants to play for small-mid size venues up to 250 people?

Is it possible to use a external mixer with that Behringer c200?

How's the sound quality of the Behringer VS the Bose in crisp, clean sound, as well as bass response?

How does the Behri C200 sound with only 4 x 2.5-inch HF drivers? All the other colum systems have at least 8 HF drivers. I am also thinking, a single 8-inch woofer for the low freq is just not going to be enough for much. Also, the LED light bar makes it too gimicky, fortunately you can just not install that light bar and install the HF bar right on top the base unit.

Hi guys nice video, " but " you have to include JBL eon one or the JBL eon one pro battery powered, in the video are more comparable to ev or Bose, even better portability against the ev or Bose.

I've heard 2 of these and they sound like a column with 3 inch speakers in them in other words very middy sounding

Behringer one of the best? Sorry, but there are too much things wrong. You can't disable the annoying light effect, the maximum height is 1.38 meters, MAUI 5 has 1.99 meters and Bose L1 compact too, so the top is too low for listeners who stand, the microphone ins has jack.
