It's called a punch turn and it's an advanced move. But once you master it you can do it. The skill comes when to use it based on baiting the defender into going a direction

The thing with neck guards is they definitely decrease the chances of this happening but they move around so much and only cover so much of the neck that this is definitely an outcome still unfortunately. I had to wear them and I had the one with the flap that I could tuck under my shoulder pads and after every shift I’d have to spin back around
