Heres some tips for the axle! (As a figure skater my self) 1. Dont try to swing hard! If you have stairs at home, you wanna stand on the last stair step by the ground. You wanna put the foot your lifting up to pull in TIGHT for the axle, on the step before you hit the ground. Then act like ur in a scratch spin, you pull up, h position- then down. Do this a couple times!


2. When ur on the ice, you will start off by doing waltzs jumps into scratch spin! After that, you can do the intro going into the axle- but do a half rotation and land on 2 feet. Keep doing that!


3. Once you do that, do the same thing- but once u get use to it, make the 2 foot a 1 foot. Once u land on that one foot, you wanna make sure that you keep that foot up once you land, when you do land.. add a three turn to make sure you get the full feeling.
