When installing a replacement filter, if you are lining it up perfectly but the cartridge will not lock into place, the issue is likely that the old cartridge you just removed did not turn & align the holes into the unlocked position upon removal. If that’s the case, you will need to manually turn the plastic holes (up under the filter housing) counter clockwise before installing the new filter. I just had to do this myself, and no videos showed this as a possibility, so I had to temporarily remove the housing from the wall and look at it in order to figure it out. Hopefully this helps someone in the future.

We just changed the EZ1 to EZ3 filter but no water comes out the faucet. When we switched back to the old EZ1 filter it no longer works (not a single drop of water comes out the faucet while it was functional right before removing to replace). If I manually turn the section with the 2 holes in the housing to locked position without the filter attached, water does flow from the hole inside the housing so connections seem to be working. It seems like both old and new filters engage in unlocked and move to locked position without a problem (couldn’t push it in any further). Any ideas what’s going on??? We used to have EZ1 system for 10 years in our previous place without any issues. In this new house we have been using EZ1 and for the first time ever decided to try EZ3 and this happened

After changing the filter and installing a new battery, the light flashes red every few days.

The manual stated turning on water by rotating the handle counter-clockwise, which puzzled me. Found out that the clockwise is correct. Please correct the manual. If I am wrong, please leave a comment (from Culligan).

I hope they had a better looking faucet. It looks cheap.

This is not how you're supposed to use teflon tape.

I just had a Culligan HF-150 filter housing (the pre HF-150A version)
fail via huge crack in bottom of housing. It was located under my
kitchen sink; might have had 15 years of service. I am so lucky I was
here to wonder about the sound of water flooding my kitchen.  It would
have been a floor disaster if it happen while I was away; and a big
financial hit if I had been on a vacation. ...  I have a few other
Culligan filters housing in my house and a rental. I had one seep leak
from a lesser crack on the clear version of a Culligan filter housing a
few years ago. I am now wondering what filter housing brand is most
dependable. I now might be replacing older filter housing because of
their age. Just asked Culligan via website if the newer HF-150A is any better
structurally; and now researching options for better dependability.
Welcome any info. from here :+)
