Photography on old digital bodies is perfectly viable today, the quality is still great, they just tend to lack modern advancements like higher frame rate, higher resolution, or fast autofocus. They are great tools to learn composition with while still getting great results

This is literally the exact setup I started photography, sadly it broke last summer, in my eyes the 70D is an absolute goat when it comes to photgraphy

Actually, in my experience, almost any dslr can bring great results once you get to know it well. Some of my favorite pictures were shot on a 350D I bought for 50 bucks a couple of years ago! Best part it's that it is also extremely sturdy, it went through the worth (even heavy rain and falls on rocks during heavy rain ahah) with no expectation on its survival, and it's still kicking

this is beautiful! i use a canon rebel xti, nearly 20 years old for my automotive photography with that same exact kit lens but without the 50mm f/1.8!

I shoot with a canon 400D (2006), and my shoots are not so much different than a new camera.

Work with what you have. You don't need the last camera to make good pics 👊🏾

I use the Canon 250D refurbished and have the kit lens, the 50mm, and a 10 mm-18 mm. I paid $500 for a whole bundle! It works great and it makes me money doing something that I love, photography and videography! Great shots and great video! 👍

I’m currently saving up for a Sony alpha 6000 series camera but right now I have my dad’s old Nikon D40! It works super well for me and I m very happy with it! :D
