India should slowly move away from Chinese products by developing their own variants and finally boycotting anything Chinese. We already have Make In India, now its time to take this initiative up a notch. India has a good workforce, which it needs to hone properly, develop a business friendly environment, and convince the big corporate houses of our capability as a lucrative manufacturing hub, with lots of land to set up their firms and cheap skilled labour. Therefore India has the potential to eventually boycott Chinese goods, but not yet...not yet.

India can't completely avoid the China. So it's up to Indians how they treat china, a threat or opportunity. In threat India will loose. They have big economy and cheap products. So, better is to minimise the import of finish goods from China export more raw materials from China. Make good from that raw materials, add value to the product and export to the other countries. This is the only way that India can compete the China. Otherwise from patriotism you can't grow the economy and feed the poor peoples.
