It doesn't work from mkdir /mnt/recover
command. Pls help

There is only partition shown to me, named "file system", it doesn't partitions like 30/40gb volume which have sam file. There is a root folder but it says "permission denied". How can i get those partitions to make a backup/copy of sam file ? Is there any other way of making a copy of sam file using cmd or anything like that?

My fiance is in icu in acoma may not make it and I need get into his brand new lenovo legion i7 I just bout him he put linux mint cinnamon 20 on it and I can't figure out the password to save my life if I want to return it if he doesn't survive because its pretty powerful machine I wouldn't use all of. But if I keep it either way I nd get into it all way. He had made uses too. Is there any way u could make a video for the Linux mint cinnamon 20 so I get nothing wrong resetting the password and getting into it please.
