Fatum

The term Fatum (in Latin) means destiny. Born of Night and Chaos, Destiny was above the deities, subjetting them to its power. Blind and inexorable, he dominated the heavens, the earth, the sea and the hells. In Stoic philosophy, the Fatum (implacable fate) also appears above all Gods and all men. The Fatum dictated the laws of the universe to which nothing and no one could escape. It was up to the oracles to decipher and reveal what was written in the book of Destiny since the beginning of creation.
