i just learned the guy who did this game is only 19yo. now, that's weird lol i would imagine the dev being way older, both bc of the nostalgic ps1 visuals and the mature and abstract content.

Playing this at the moment. That dream world definitely looks better when you turn on the epilepsy friendly visuals. I'm not sure why the default design choice was to have it the other way which just looks glitchy and you can't see where you're going

I had no idea what this was until I saw the cat character and recognized it as part of the Haunted PS1 Demo Disk compilation, seen as part of a YT video of a Twitch VOD. I don’t remember if Paratopic was one of these games, but I’d be interested to see the rest of the titles available.

My brother and I got this game on sale in a bundle with Paratopic. We've not touched Paratopic yet but love this game as we've been theorizing the meaning. We also plan on playing Paratopic together.

To describe this game, I'd say "LSD Dream Emulator with words." I'm not just comparing it to LSD because of the trippy nature, the PS1 graphics, and the soundtrack, but because of the backgrounds. Those very... very Japanese backgrounds. But it's not just a walking simulator, and I like how you can actually do things to the world around you. Even at 5 dollars, I can still get behind it, especially with the 10 endings offering replay value. But right now, it's on sale for 2. Feel free to get yourself a weird, pretty, affordable game for Halloween.

The only bad thing about this game is that it ended, I would pay for a sequel, expansion pack, DLC, remaster or remake or just a medium sized update any day just to enjoy it for a little longer but have to say it is very entertaining to make friends play it and see how they do and their reactions to the world and endings
