The hardest work pays the lowest in this country (non-union). Waitressing, fast food, secretarial and jobs like contracted Medicaid eligibility deterination all pay crap can't-live-on-it wages. If you add up cost of living increases that were NOT given over the last 25 years those wages need to double to attract any workers now.

No body wants to be forced to get a chip in a needle. And to be honest the great majority of citizens understand that voting gets nothing accomplished. If you want to stop the stupid you have to quit supporting it financially. Only one way to do that. :)
