Why do you think the United States has a

The act that legally turned the USA into a corporation was the District of Columbia Organic Act of 1871.

This act also changed the USA from a REPUBLIC to a DEMOCRACY.

Democracy is one of the WORST types of government.

The word democracy comes from the word demos, which means “common people.”

A group of common people can also be called a mob. The word cracy
comes from the Latin word cratia, meaning “power, might, rule.”

Based on these definitions, democracy means “mob rule” or “people power.”

Every day for school in the morning we us to recite the whole think. At the time me being a kid I didn't understand nor care..looking back I wish I did.. As I look at what goes on it makes me sick.. Makes me angery...knowing what I know now about my ancestors anyone who burns a flag steps on a flag paints in a flag rips a flag lets a flag touch the ground if ots the American or the Confederate flag and I see it.. I will flip shit.. My ancestors fought for everyone and this is the thanks they get!...my great great great grandfather David Scott would be pissed at what's happening. Some of us don't have memories of our ancestors and would like to keep things of historic value up.. Just because you think your feelings are hurt im sorry but last i knew aint none of us own a cotton field of today and none of owns a slave.. The United States is a Federal Republic. Each state is a Republic. Each state is a country. The United States is a federation of Independent sovereign countries that united for their common defense and external trade. Each state has a wtitten constitution. The Union government also has a written constitution. After the Civil War, we started teaching that the United States is a single Republic. It is not. Read the Philidelphia Convention notes and the state convention notes. Madison states the union government is federal not national. Federalism is the vertical check on tyrannical central power. Thus the lecturer is correct that America is not a democracy but by suggesting America is one nation he is misrepresenting the nature of the union.
