I'm surprised that nothing was mentioned about convenience. Like how gas right off of the highway tends to be more expensive.

In Pennsylvania, the state government does not believe in funding infrastructure projects. The PennDot (PA Department of Transportation) was recently audited and more than $4 billion dollars collected in gas taxes to repair bridges and roads were diverted to fund the state police.

So is it 19.6 mil barrels per day or 9.6 mil barrels per day. The chart doesn't make sense

When I started driving in the mid-90s, gas was about 85-90 cents per gallon...

I wish they would advertise how much you're paying for tax when you get gas. just like sales taxes is separate

Whoever did the photos for this video did some nice camera work 👌👍 The pictures are so clear!! And thanks for this information, didn't know this. I've been really paying attention to this lately, but I thought it was because of competition among gas stations, so one may be higher and one lower, because the gas stations are side by side.

How does your map not include Nigeria, Libya or Venezuela etc. The WSJ includes statistics to the contrary of this video on a daily basis,

I live close to an ARCO that sets their gas price at over a dollar more than prices anywhere in the area. They are price gauging and everyone knows it. Yet, since they are next to the freeway, desperate drivers will still fuel up. How come this is legal?

You should have answered the question of why it's 9/10 of a gallon not a full gallon advertised price

British Columbia, Canada is currently the highest priced petrol on average in Canada, priced at a provincial average of $138.8 CAD per litre for petrol, the equivalent of roughly $4.00 USD per gallon. If you live in Metro Vancouver like myself, you're paying roughly $0.60 CAD per litre or $1.74 USD per gallon in taxes. Just a thought.

It's not the same product its different companies so different blend. Also could be different owners they can charge what they want.

As of the time of this comment, Average US gallon of unleaded petrol (regular gas) is $2.759. The same US gallon of fuel in the UK is ~$6.094 i calculated, which uses the average price of 128.8 pence/litre of unleaded petrol (regular gas). Fuel is waaaayyyy more expensive here in the UK.

Conversions:
1 Litre = ~0.264 US liquid gallon
£1 = $1.25 at the time of this comment

Question: Did all gas stations get the same gasoline from only a few refineries? I used to pump gas from a cheaper but generic gas station into 2 cars (one very new) and they both had catalytic converter problems. I suspected that that gas station used sub-standard fuel. Any information on this issue?

In Malaysia, all gas prices are the same, nationwide. Be it if you're in a deep jungle. Same price
