Also I played the original Live Aid Performance at a Apple store. People huddled around me to watch. It was pretty cool!

Honestly, even before 2018 Queen was a staple in party playlists or vinyl collections or pretty much everything in my group of friends. A lot of people my age have been raised by Queen-Fans, so I don‘t see a near end for the fandom.
Their music is timeless. It won‘t disappear.

The movie brought a whole new generation the opportunity to really experience these amazing artists and for that I am so thankful, yes here in the U.S the radio stations have always played their most popular songs, but for my mom (who grew up in the Queen Generation) and my self in my 20 seeing the movie brought on a whole new curiosity about Freddie's life and the band. Thank goodness for you tube to be able to watch their concerts and interviews and really learn about them. I know myself and many as soon as they saw the movie came home and actually watched the real Live Aid Concert and I must admit I still at least watch it everyday. My mom never knew there where albums that where made while he was sick and after he passed because I think here in the states they where never really played. Also having you tube available allows us to hear the many sides of Freddie, he certainly has different speaking and singing tones. When he sings he sounds very macho and strong, when he does interviews he has a more softer tone and funny, but then when he is private as shown in some home films he has the flamboyant side. This movie and having youtube available has allowed us to really see how genius all the members of Queen where. Who knew Freddie sang opera. I certainly play the music of Queen and Freddie while working out. Great video. Kayla

Update: I got my Class to do the Radio Gaga Clap (they didn’t know they did it though)

I volunteered to do echo rhythms for my Chorus class, I started with a Clap, they clapped, I clapped twice, they clapped twice. I didn’t want to lower my hands every time so I kept them in the air, they did too.

My Chorus teacher gave me a smile that day

Queen was always a quartet, not the Freddie Mercury backup band. That being said, besides losing part of that quartet they had going on- he's Freddie fucking Mercury, of course losing him has an enormous impact.
