This tutorial saved me like $150, thank you so much. On a side note, what the HELL are these screws made of because I stripped damn near everyone putting it back together. So infuriating when you're literally done but the screws won't turn. All and all, great work 👍🏽

thank you so much, i had a power surge a few days back and completely fried my console, tried reaching out to microsoft to check if my warranty was still up and found out it wasnt and that to get it fixed by them they would charge me around R3000 which is about $200 and decided to do it on my own which lead me to your video which saved me R2300 including the cost of the replacement power supply so thank you very much

Great stuff TweakTips. My son's Xbox wasnt powering up. I also have an XBox. I replaced his power supply with mine, but it still didn't work. So it isn't a power issue BUT that said, your instructions were perfect. I was able to take the working power supply back out of the broken XBox, put it back into the good one and all is well again. Brilliant instructions. No BS at the beginning. Thanks very much.

That was a fantastic institutional video. Very helpful, detailed and well explained. Unfortunately after replacing the power supply the system is still completely dead. I have no idea what do other than salvage the new power supply and junk the console.

Awesome tutorial bought an used xbox that does not work a seller lied about it's condition. however I got to keep console that does not turn on at all but after I was already refunded so I'm going to buy a new power supply .. for like $30 bucks so worth it to see if it fixed the console
