Awesome, thank you. Our vacuum cord at work broke, the prong ended up in the outlet. This video helped me to fix it since we didn't have a guy around to take care of it. Us women like to keep things clean you know. Took a pair of scissors and a sharp knife. It worked!! But we then realized someone bought the wrong plug replacement. I am picking up the right one and our vacuum will be back in action for less than $5! Thank you.

I had a space heater in storage for several years plugged it in and last night and this morning smelt plastic burning so immediately unplugged it. I think the prong was a little rusty honestly don’t remember looking at it. FYI everyone should examine plugs before plugging into an outlet. I feel so stupid not doing that. Mine is a three prong plug. Will have to get the wire stripper too as well as replacement at HD or Lowe’s. Ty so much for your video. I too feel confident enough that I can do it myself! ✨👍

I have a Shark vacuum that I yank out of the socket, and one of the prongs broke off. Last time this happened I had to buy the Shark I have now. Now after finding this video, I won't have to buy a new one.
