I had a lovely moment with the Queen. When I was 16 I worked in London as a junior clerk, and one of my jobs was to go to the post office every day. One day, I was just about to go into the post office when a Rolls Royce with blacked out windows pulled up for the traffic light right outside the entrance. I was sure it was The Beatles, and so I ran over to the car, and peering in, I was so surprised to see Queen Elizabeth sitting in the back seat. Seeing my shocked expression she burst out laughing. I had always thought that the Queen was rather reserved, but now I knew she also had a great sense of humour!
