I filmed this 7 hours after the rejection. There were a lot of raw, honest emotions I don’t normally film! *Please share this with anyone struggling with rejection or you think will find it helpful!* I promise things will get better. When I found out, I felt really empty but it’s been a week since and trust me, with an optimistic outlook, you’ll be back on your feet in no time! In other news, I did get accepted into some amazing colleges which I’ll talk more about in an upcoming Q&A! Best of luck with school, exams, and everything. I was rejected from all the schools I applied to. Did full IB diploma and felt worthless and depressed after that final rejection. Went to church and asked God “why me?” But everything happens for a reason and everyone has a different path to follow and it’s all gonna work out in the end. Off to community college, thank you.

I just got rejected from Johns Hopkins. It was my ed school and I feel like my application was a joke in their eyes. I tried really hard. My best friend got deferred and she was soooo disappointed about it- i had to console her but to me they at least considered her... I'm afraid to apply to other top colleges now. I do like my instate school, but I want to challenge myself. I want to give so much to the world and it just hurts that the world doesn't want me.

Real rejection comes after college when you apply to jobs and the competition gets worse. That's the good part about college rejection it prepares you for what's to come.

I got rejected by my dream school to and it was the best thing to ever happen to me, because what I thought I wanted to do, and DREAMT my entire future career around, ended up being SO wrong for me! My second choice ended up being the best choice. It DOES get better <3

Hi Katie! Today, I received an email of my rejection of my proposal for PhD grant! I cried because this was my one chance to study what I truly love, to travel out and see the world. During the whole process of applying I got very much attached to the idea. Also, people who guided me during this whole thing have now become indifferent, all those good things they said to me about my future, got so engraved in my mind that is now difficult to think that that is not gonna happen. One thing I have realised that I should not believe anybody who shows me unrealistic dreams and promises for future, because when time comes they just back off!

Which landed me in a mental hospital because The fact that I am dealing with depression from college rejection and a lot of other things stacked on top my senior year :( so yea u keep strong ✨✨❤️

I just got rejected by Stanford genetics phd program. I am heartbroken and going through all these emotions you mentioned. I feel like I disappointed my mentor and my friends. I am doubting my self-worth and my achievements. I am not Christian but I also believe there are reasons for whatever we have been through and life will always give us what we actually want.
