How to Install a Honey Bee Nuc

In this video I show how to install a honey bee Nuc. Installing a bee Nuc is actually easier than installing a package of honey bees. The advantage of installing a honey bee Nuc is that it is actually an already established mini honey bee hive. With the two honey bee Nucs that I install in this video, they actually were formed the previous year and over wintered. Consequently they each are fairly strong mini bee hives. Also, unlike a honey bee package of bees, a honey bee Nuc comes with 5 frames that include frames that already have brood in them. So a Nuc gets a significant jump compared to a package of bees, since the queen has to get established in the hive when you install her with the package of bees.
