What i love about this is how narrow the grid is. I prefer dot grid, but if the paper was thicker- I can see the light colored print through the page, let alone whatever pen I would use, I would just accept the grid paper.

Really wish there was a similar two-page-a-day journal with blank or lined paper rather than grid paper!

is there a pen test on the midori hibino paper? I would love to get one, but I don't know what the paper is like!

I got my Hibino at the end of August, but I am not convinced that i will be satisfied with it. The grid is very small and i made a fountain pen test. The ink takes a long time to dry and smudges easily. But its not bleeding trough. I tesete higlighters and brushpens too. So the paper quality is similar to Hobonichi. I will see how it goes and maybe will be ordering something else. An A6 hobonichi HON or planner or a Take a Note planner? But it was quite expensive. So i might see and try various layouts and decide for something else for 2026 later
