Do you have a daily creative journal?!

I found planner peace with my Hibino in 2024. I use the left side of the day as a planner, timelog, food log.the right side page I use as a diary, thoughts, morning pages, deco. I love it so much. It chunked up a lot last year but i still loved it. The tiny grid forces me to right slowly with a smaller nib pen.writing slowly and neatly acts as a mindfulness practice. Write slow, write neat, breath. I love using transfer stickers, no bulk.

Hello This is the Journal Police! 🚨 😂 I love LOVE your Doodles ❤ it's interesting to hear about all your different pens and inks because I don't cross into that conversation with my journals.

I did run across the problem with the stamps and was devastated that it ruined my previous page. My rubber stamps have become the least used resource in my arsenal.
Ideas for the monthly pages:
Teeny tiny doodle a day
One thing you're grateful for a day
A doodle that represents what you're grateful for that day.
Practice different lettering a day with a word that makes you happy.
Your Hibino looks wonderful so far and I'm sure it loves you back for showing up and being with it every day. Enjoy your process of experimenting ❤ in the end, the fact that you will have a completed journal... I'd bet all my watercolors...will feel so satisfying 🎉 Much love 💕 from your journaling friend 🤗

You're struggles in finding your way in a new book are so relatable, but I hope you can still enjoy the freedom of your creative journal. I think it looks great!

I was listening to this while I was doing some pen tests, I don't have anything insightful to say other than I love your drawings!!

I just love the way you’ve been using your hibino far! It’s too bad about the stamping issues and how that interacts with writing on the other page. I’m also not great at using my deco tapes, either. 😅

Try stamping on scrap of leftover cream tomoe river paper, then cutting it out and gluing it in. Using thin tomoe river paper will not add bulk.

If they create this in at least B6 and change the paper to MD Paper I’d try this Diary again I used it for the first time in 2023 when I purchased it I didn’t realize it was TR even back then the paper ghosted and bleed ( I took can be heavy handed) even if you are heavy handed I personally think it shouldn’t bleed or ghost ( just my personal opinion) I will say drier inks tend not to bleed and ghost as much I’m currently in a Midori 2025 1 day 1 page I’m living it ❤ I’m in a A5 but next year I’ll probably get a A6

I’m so disappointed with the tomoe river sanzen paper coming from the wonderful experience of the 2024 take a note 68gsm. The ghosting and bleed through make me dislike using this hibino 😢
