the xp icons used vibrant colors it was a bit of a 2d in between 3d type the 7 icons were already 3d I love them both

When I used Windows 7 for the very first time, it just made my Windows XP looks Obsolete then. And it also happen until now

Without any doubt, the best OS ever launched by Microsoft. I used Windows XP in my childhood and today, I use Windows 7 whose graphic design is very beautiful. Windows 10 has a good design but It's very minimalist.

Damn ... I noticed it just now. The Windows 7s desktop icon has Windows Vistas orb and taskbar.

As for IE and Media Player, it's just the difference between versions, not between XP and 7.

Could you do Windows Vista vs 7 icons next please Martin? There are some pretty interesting differences between both of them.

The windows 7 icons look more realistic and 3D style like icons. The windows xp icons look cartoony and 3D basically looking like video game icons. But windows 7 & windows xp were the best windows operating systems ever made. Windows XP came out in 2001 and when it was released, the users were very impressed by the fast & great performance windows XP used. For example, it was very easy to use and the stability was insanely well done. For windows 7 released in October of 2009, when it was released, the original users for windows XP that upgraded to windows vista were very overwhelmed by the also great performance of windows 7 and the features of it were very styled especially aero and fans were happy that this was better than vista because vista was very buggy & glitchy on its launch but windows 7 lacked the buggy features and was insanely the best OPS in windows history. I got to admit these operating systems needed to last longer. I know we miss these two so much and I still have them both on my shelf because they are my babies lol.
