I understand your point of view concerning closed captions, your software solution looks very easy to use. There is a difference between a title and closed captions and sub-titles. Sub-titles or closed captions have become mandatory by legislation grouping 5 areas for people with disabilities with time, the technology of speech recognition. prices to produce have become very reasonable. However to respect ADA you cannot use any fonts. According to ADA, the Helvetica medium typeface is the typeface that is recognized as the most visible and legible, so companies have produced Arial, Trebuchet MS, Verdana, only about ten are approved. The color is white, black border. Size is defined as 30 pixels medium and bold style; border 1 to 3 pixels, box is 75% black or dark gray but on TV black is used. The number of characters per line is also defined and the number of lines as well as the display time. You probably know all that but don't seem to attach much importance to it. The major problem is speech recognition which for most people does not work too well. I follows with great interest all the solutions proposed for STT and the TTS are great tools for communications.
