The reason youtube recommends old vidoes is becuase after they show it to one person, they comment 'the youtube algorithm is drunk' then youtube sees that as positive engagement so it pushes the video to more and more people who also comment. So eventually, thousands of people are being recommended old videos.

The algorithm has got to be trolling us at this point. Be honest, none of you searched for this, none of you watch content about subtitles or something similar to this, yet we all got here at the same time.

i remember a japanese music video with an animation playing in the background and captions that shook/moved/glitched and even changed color to fit what was happening on screen, was absolutely amazing and made reading the eng subs for the lyrics entertaining af
