(209) The Red Blinking Light came on with my new Olight Baton 3 Charger

Today I got a flashing red light on my brand new Olight Baton 3 charging case. I discuss what caused this to occur. ➕Bonus video, Match strike pulls.

You sir just really helped me out. I just got the Baton 3 and the first time I charged it, it all went well. So just now it's due for a charge and it showed red at the top case LED and green at the bottom LED for the case because the case was charged. It was not even 20 minutes and I came back and saw no upper LED light on. So I took out the light put it back in and it showed green so I thought it was charged. When I used it though the flashlight on button showed yellow. Anyway, to make a long story short, when I did what you said in tightening the cap, now I see it charging correctly. I mean that cap was just barely loose too.

Oh wow...that is very interesting William!! Definitely can happen with the magnetic base! Thanks for pointing this out!! Yeah...I tried the match strike pulls...didnt work very well for me! Nice trick match you found...lol!

Thanks William, nice to know these things..I'm in the market for a new flashlight. I have the rovyvon aurora on my key clump, but looking for something a little bigger & the O-light models have caught my eye.. especially the ones with the charging pods - looking forward to your review ✌️

Oh man I’m so glad I found your video I went to charge the light for the first time in wireless charger but it was working. It just needed a nice tightening of the body. Thanks you!!

I had changed issues too. Won't charge, it just glows green even when it is nearly dead. I will try cleaning

That flashlight looks great buddy!! I think maybe some dust or oil build up can cause it.

I't shows the quality of that Olight. Glad to see that you can strike a match on a match strike pull, as long as you have a knife or six with you hahaha In good ole westerns they strike matches on almost everything from boots to doorposts or even on jeans, somehow that never worked for me. Ofcourse these days they almost only sell the safetymatches, which means no box; no fire. I'll await your Olight review.

My premium Baton 3 wouldn't charge inside the case. Case was fully charged drained the battery of the light and sat in there for 5h. The light was still red and wasn't getting any charge. So I charged the light with an mcc and it worked fine. Mine started flashing red at some point when the light was inside the case. Cleaned all contacts but nope No succes... Contacted the shop where I purchased it and I got a blue one as replacement on the way right now! Coming next week. It's so weird why this happended.

My baton 4 wont even show a light at all no red no green. It worked the first 2 times. Everything is clean and brand new. Can you help ?
