One unfortunate situation is some mobile providers make you pay more when you want to stream CD quality. I had Sprint and when I set my Tidal app to stream CD quality when using cell service it wouldn’t stream unless I paid more, it could sense I was trying to stream CD quality music. So, some companies are dinging you even though you have unlimited data and they have the tech to handle it!

The big revolution will come when we can stream lossy audio via future version of Bluetooth or anything like Airplay to headphones or airpods if we talk about apple devices. All the codecs right now are lossless, even Sony LDAC or AptxHD. Maybe we can see also betters DACs inside our phones and laptops, now we need a external DAC too in order to get better performance. And thanks for this video, for the people who dont have a clear concept about lossless and lossy is a great video
