I lost my dad 5-4-23 an this was the last song we played while they shut the casket. 1 memory i have is 16yrs ago i moved to Michigan from NY an i called him like 6mnth later an he was right out that door to come move me right back. I will always think of him coming to rescuing me an saying im your dad, thats my job when it doesnt work out. I was daddy's little girl and the youngest of 6 kids, PLUS the only girl. My dad taught me everything I knew...except how to live without him. His death tore me apart. I didn't think I could, or wanted to live without him. I was devastated for soo long. This song reminded me of him and I knew my dad DID HIS JOB!

Dads tend to struggle alone at times because we have to be strong for our families. If we seem like we need alone time it's because we need to regroup a little. We will make it out the other side and be ok though.
