Great piece - greetings from Poland.
Anybody who is a Slav knows of stories about of Baba Jaga. The ususal are about the witch living in the house on the chicken leg turning around when it's called to the front. She travels in a large wooden pot, can be good, can be bad.
In Slav mithology she was not a old and ugly- she was a guard beetween the world of living and dead, knew her herbs, knew how to treat illnesses and protect people.
After Christianity came to be a main religion in Europe- she started to be portrayed as old, ugly and mean.

As someone born in Russia, my grandma has told me many stories of Baba Yaga. This music fits perfectly, I can imagine her flying through the forest. thank you for this.
