I have an ol 95. 302 5spd 4x4 variety. Love it. But hell, she requires a lot of attention. I did that whole list you just named & then some. The door hinge bushings, exhaust, leaf springs & shackles, full suspension & front end, u joints, and much more. Really great content Dave 👍 big fan. Keep it up!! We need people like you

I do agree with Dave having a vehicle inspected before you buy one is a good idea sometimes there could be hidden problems that can't even be detected but getting the general idea of what is wrong for sure is a good idea for negotiating the price

Oh ya I bought a 98 obs gmc 1500 and it needed almost everything....included a transmission swaped it in my back yard

Even vehicles are usually judged by their cover looks like a pretty decent paint job that looks like that's about it right

The pipes joints are fitted backwards on the exhaust too. They should be installed in nested/shingle fashion from source to drain in the direction of the flow of medium flowing within it, like the downspout of a rain gutter. The outlet/source is overlapped by the first pipe, the first pipe is overlapped by the next pipe downstream and so on. If you do it the other way around, then gas or liquid can just flow around the start of next pipe at the joint and escape the system.

Awesome I just bought a 1968 impala it needed a new engine and transmission, I got it for 3, 000, I have 3 crate motors and 2 extra transmission so it saved me time. The paint, frame and interior are really nice so it was worth it.
