I once bought a (brand new VERY expensive) juice-maker from an angry man that had won it in a golf tournament! He hates juice and he hates fruit and now he also hates his golfclub, and he yelled about this until I was going to pay him and then he said ”Don’t worry about that, here. Sourdough has a thing called "Sourdough discard" which is what you "throw" out before you feed it more flour to keep it alive. Many people have learned how to bake different things using their discard instead of throwing it away. Anything from cookies, to biscuits to bagels and brownies there's seemingly no end to sourdough discard recipes.

My husband has the same lunchbox oven. Best thing ever! It's great for re- heating, just grab foil trays that fit plug in and drive. He's a truck driver and almost every other truck driver we know has one. They're available at almost every truck stop and canadian tire for around $50.

The lunch box cooker was designed for long haul truckers. They can drive and have their lunch ready when they stop.

My grandparents had a cylindrical tin of “peanut brittle” that was filled with 3 of those snakes. All of the grandkids were tricked at least once. It was from the 1940s and had the exact same print on the fabric. My mom has the tin, and I will inherit it. 10:56

1. I laughed hard enough to freak out my dog with the chips.

2. The lunchbox was sold in truckstops for truckers to get a hot meal.
The most common use was homemade casseroles in aluminum bread pans (like one-time use for banana bread as a gift).

They would feeze them and then take them in the truck to put in the cooler. Then you put it in the lunch box in the morning and have at least one homemade hot meal a day.
