“ People think we’re the drama queens of the horse world but have you ever met a dressage rider?” As a dressage rider that cracked me up so much!

"Hold on and pray. Tally ho!" Sounds like a life's motto. Terrifically fun video.

The only thing you missed was the check writing -customized halter, shine sprays, hoof black, polish, three kinds of clippers, a cabinet full of supplements, training saddle, show saddle …. 🤓

Heading the line about dressage riders being drama queens has brought me back to so many fun conversations at the barn. All of us live in a stretch of small towns so someone will have gossip from their surrounding towns and in exchange I give them the town gossip. Though my town gossip is more of things that should be on the news but because it’s a small town in who knows where, no one cares. So, I go to the barn with the latest church burnings and my friends go their with the latest town conflict. It’s like group therapy.

....because we're still bonding, recovering from acorn poisoning, and creating a new area for my Daisy. Plus, the only tack I own is a lead and a halter. I'm looking more like the naturalist! haha I liked her best anyway, she was the sweetest and the cutest; wearing that dandelion in her hair, just chillin on the grass.

Can you PLEASE do a "Mares vs Geldings" Episode? You have experienced both, so please share! I think that would be funny. Thanks (btw...I have NOTHING against either one....I ride and love both) <3

That’s hilarious! I have one to add The disabled rider! I have had odd symptoms, all my life, and finally, after I had almost become fully certified to be a therapeutic riding instructor and I was teaching basic to low jump English. I got diagnosed with a couple of degenerative diseases very quickly.
Through coaching I honestly have experienced every type of rider there’s a skill set that comes with each style. And I really like to break the norms and put everything together in my own way whatever works for each rider. The biggest thing I really dislike is the judgement that can come at times. The community is actually pretty small once you get really into it it’s really important to be supportive of each other.
I have worked through becoming severely ill to keep joker. He was a rescue and I promised him the day that I got him but I would never sell him. He is my heart I got for my 16th birthday and truly him and my husband are the best things that I’ve ever happened to me. This video just really reminded me all of all the different skills and how entertaining it is when you see somebody who’s really really stuck in their ways and doesn’t wanna look at any other perspective. Thanks for your videos I just started looking at them, and even though I have experience, I have to learn how to do a lot of things since I’m becoming more disabled as I’m getting older And I’m now doing therapeutic grading for myself ! Thanks for this hilarious video. I’m gonna watch it again cause it cracked me up.
