If you listen closely, it's noticeably not Jack Haley singing the tin man's part, they kept the original Buddy Ebsen recording. Jack's voice was soft, the tin man sings in a midwestern voice here. You really have to listen closely, but it's noticeable

When I watched this as a kid I never realized the massive budget necessary to produce this. This production must've taken an enormous amount of cash to produce... All of these actors hand selected to dance to a coreographed tune in specialized costumes... Someone really went through quite a bit of trouble to preach a moral message
