This is what happens when you get a 16 year olds a $35000 sports car

I’d like to thank people like you for making it easy to find parts in the junkyard

Motor blows so you Rev it? For some reason I feel like it's probably not the cars fault and has more to do with care

I don’t even know where the coolants at?

Apparently Subarus have a cool feature where if a coolant hose blasts off and you lose pressure the system will then use brake fluid to cool the engine! That’s why these master mechanics are doing what they are doing in the video.

This is what happens when you thrash on an engine before it is broken in. My bugeye WRX is still going strong at 240k with the stock engine and 5-speed. I don't baby it, but I don't bounce it off of the rev limiter all the time either.

I'll never understand that.. I did many HPDE/autocrosses with mine, daily drove her and drove spiritedly, never had an issue besides needing a new clutch.. only reason she's gone is.. I was rear ended by a semi truck a couple weeks ago

People who come from hondas and toyotas buying a Subaru and then continue treating it like a Honda or Toyota. You gotta check maintenance every 3 weeks with a Subaru for it to be reliable.

When you totally disregard the break in period😂

If they behave like the WRX drivers in my area then I wouldn't be surprised.

Yeah a 2020 with 5000 miles on the third engine. I have a stage 2 2016 with 70, 000 original miles. Just make sure it has oil and coolant and don’t red line it all the time and it is fine. Also don’t launch it 20 times a week and it lasts longer.

prolly cause bro was driving it hard asl every time even when the engine wasn’t broken in yet, it’s a brand new car

Just thought I’d chime in, got a 2020 wrx and it’s got 23k miles on it, I maintain it well, and it’s on a stage 2+ tune, no issues in sight, absolute beast of a car if yk how to care for it

Tbh, the only thing it should have is rod knock from being red lined, a blown head gasket for a car with 5k is not his fault- from a Subaru builder.

They probably never let this thing warm up, those boxers have to warm up before you start driving them
