In this video I review and summarize my takeaways from Stolen Focus by Johann Hari. In Stolen Focus: Why you Can’t pay Attention the author Johann Hari (Lost Connections) sets out to explore the causes of the attention crisis that he see in his own life, and society as a whole.

What he reports back after talking with attention experts is distilled into 12 different causes distraction and lack of focus— and the causes are not only the ones you expect! (Technology / social media)

Stolen Focus is a book I urge everyone to read and in this book review I lll let you know why! So pay attention 😉

In the end of the video you will get some further recommendations of books related to the topic of focus and attention.

He's advocating that we create labor unions- rethink education and insatiable economic growth - which sits at the center of the modern war on attention. Did we read the same book? the whole- create an environment for yourself to thrive with attention seems to miss the point which is more so that we need to collectively act to advocate for structural societal changes so that we aren't continuing to collectively lose focus and mind what doesn't matter in the long run

It would really helpful if you numbered your 5 takeaways before you speak about them. : ) And if you haven't already read it, check out the
The Happiness hypothesis
By Jonathan Haidt
And his other books as well.
All the best

Long Time No See..🙂

Well, I Have Seen This One On You Twitter Account Glad You Made a Video On This One..My Favorite Part Of This Video Is On AI, The Negativity Bias And Polarization! And As I Always Do After Watching You Most Videos I Am Also Gonna Add This One Into My List😉

Sir, Can You Make a Video On How To Read a Review a Book Like You? I Am Not Asking For Video Making Purposes But Many Readers (Including Me) Have Problems In Explaining About a Specific Book So It Would Be Helpful If You Could Make a Video On It..😇
