Hey hey, old anarchy online player myself! I just heard about this game. Huge Dune fan. So I am really interested and hope for the best. Great video on the info breakdown.

Let's admit something, AO was Dune like. Desert planet, corps vs desert rebels. Rubi-Ka had a mineral only found there and highly sought after (the SPICE). Sci fi future. So you could say AO was their first round at a dune mmo. I hope they take what they learned from AO and conan and make something really good!!

It’s great finding more people interested in keeping up with this game, from a dune fan and gamer I enjoyed this vid can’t wait to keep up to date hopefully they release more details like about the factions and great houses how that will have an affect joining a guild who is aligned with one particular house then another can’t wait.

I played Age of Conan! I loved it and I loved the World PvP. I also played Conan Exiles! Hopefully Dune: Awakening is fun!

Great video as always spun! The world changing and vehicle systems sound pretty cool, but I just don't like sand that much. Much more of a forest guy, but it seems like it could be a good game. I wonder if they'll be able to hit the 1000 CCU like they promise.

I assume player's will be able to Pre order and Own Disc editions, Hard copies of Game for Collections.

I do hope we get to have control of the spice industry as well Have people use a harvester. Have carryall players helping them. Have other players sabotage them etc. Would make for some really cool things. Especially if they let you choose a house/faction I think if they spice it a bit up in a planetside 2 kind of way it would make more sense to be a MMO then seeing Planetside 2 so far is the only shooter MMO doing 1000 people on a persistant server cool faction wars etc. I always love to the the support chopper in games and being the hero saving a harvester with players before a worm gets them gives me the best dopamine shots

Still playing AO from time for the old times sake - even with a sub, but burned myself on TSW and Conan, and can't really see anything fun for me here, apart from the world and exploration. It seems to be a PVP grindfest, guild vs guild, and you know, even if I really do enjoy PVP in GW2 or SWTOR, I have real life to live, just want my games to be a concentrated fun time, so I will be VERY cautious before buying. Thanks for the review.

Seems cool Spun! But you didn't exactly make me more optimistic about the game. The enviroement seems to be just like the name applies just a dune. Not too fond of sci-fi mmo's either, but this one is a survivial mmo, and with 1000 players on one server, man I could imagine this being so incredible cool.
Spun imagine us flying around in mosquito plane looking for players across the vast deserts and pilaging. Man I could imagine it being soooo cool.

Do you have a source on the 1000 CCU claim? I'm staff in a large Conan Exiles community and we're trying to work out whether we'll be able to run a Dune server or if servers will be run by Funcom only.

Questions i have, is this built on the Age of conan engine more then 16 years old.. is the model going to be like destiny? thoughts. Base on all the footage I have seen to date. I really hope that all the models art and so on are mostly place holders. Interested to see if there is full voice and animation acting in the game. Hoping there is a good melee/Ranged combo systems to replicate how in the original movie was and in the books.. If there is not a harsh deal with water its going to feel really cheap imo. infact the hardest part of this game should be to find water. I really dont understand most of this game so far seems like form what little info available its going to be more like a pvp game more then a regular mmo. something similar to planet side.. but time will tell. It seems to me they should have built this game more like star wars galaxies for all the lore that is available. All the history all the different races. Funcom is missing a huge opportunity imo. Again time will tell what they do..
