Things I told a student today… that I wish someone had told me when I started singing.

There’s so much pressure to sound “good” right away—but the truth is, singing is a long game.

The more calm, curious, and kind you can be with yourself, the stronger and freer your voice will become.

Now I remind my students what I needed to hear back then:
You’re not behind. You’re not broken. You’re just learning. And that’s enough.
