Another theory about owl and rabbit is…they may have became the same as Pooh and piglet but hunting humans in a different area of the woods and in the animation part where they appeared.. they found out Christopher Robin returned and came to watch Pooh and piglet drag him away to show him the remains of Eeyore

Since Owl and Rabbit are still alive as shown in this clip it looks like they may not be friends with Pooh and Piglet anymore. So here's my prediction for the next movie: Christopher Robin will find Owl and Rabbit in another part of the forest and although they hate him and other humans they may have not become quite as feral as Pooh and Piglet did and therefore they did not become serial killers

This would of been better if Christopher told his parents and, they thought it was just a kid’s imagination but, as Christopher grew and still had imaginary friends his parents committed him to an asylum. That way Christopher was unwillingly taken from them. It would of made the main character’s pain so much more believable when he found out they now hated him and were feral from something not in his control. I mean if he just went to college why didn’t he just visit on weekends and holidays? He could of still kept them a secret and taken care of them. Showed them how to harvest berries and store away food. It’s just not as believable as the asylum would have been.
