Magic lantern raw really makes you want to go outside and film all day. It is addicted.

1080 = best for movement. 2.5k = best for sit down shots

Hard to judge as framing all different and honestly from this test dont see any dramatic sharpness difference between the resolutions, but could also be the lens that isnt sharp enough for the higher resolutions.

I've been watching some of your EOS M raw vids. They look surprisingly good for a $300 camera. Are you using expensive lenses? I might have to buy one of these cameras. What's the drawback?

shot with the kit lens 18-55mm
Tried every mode on the camera but some didnt wanna record (Buffer thing?)
i literally just got magic lantern on the cam so of course things aren't perfect


And some didnt have any frames for the MLV App?


also that 5k Shot confuses me. first of all its choppy and 2nd I'm surprised its not cropped in like 2.5k

Im using 1080p but somehow my footage dont get as nice bro. What are your settings in cam ?

Does anyone know about record time in these resolutions higher than 1080 because from what I've seen in numerous eos m vids is the record time maxes out at 29mins59secs even with magic lantern so my guess is higher quality video = much less record time. If anyone has a work around to recording longer then please let me know. Thanks
