I don't think people know anything about history donetsk and luhansk mariupol ( all of the donbass regions) held a referendum on 11 May 2014 to be part of Russia and the votes came in at 86% pro Russian but the Ukraine did not officially recognize that vote and send troops over to kill all pro Russian since then putin actually tried to talk about peace in that region through political means with no affect but luckily he finally recognized them as free states in February so I don't understand why people are standing with the Ukrainian to denounce people's freedom
