UX Process Step by Step START Doing THIS to MASTER UX Design

Design is NOT a linear process. The creative process is anything but linear. By having been there firsthand as a creative in all kinds of creative industries, I know this is a fact. But, the scientist in me wanted to make sense of it all. And I KNEW there had to be at least some kind of formula you could follow. At least for a part of the process. Could there be anything to help ensure that the quality of the UX design work you put out is ALWAYS top-notch? And finally, it clicked!

In this video, I'll go over two main things. First, I'll walk you through the 8 different UX design phases or areas of a typical UX process. I see these more as areas to focus on, depending on what is most relevant for the project at hand. Secondly, I'll go over my step-by-step UX Focus Checklist. It's a 6-step checklist system to help you understand what area or design phase to start off with. This is a challenge for many, but by following it, you'll be able to quickly figure out what actions to focus on before diving into the design deliverables of a project. Awesome stuff here, Anik! As a beginner I want to stick to a systematic process religiously first before I can get used to it and I always come across the 5-step design thinking process. What I really liked about your video though is you expanded on this by highlighting three more crucial steps. I will remember to document my design processes in the future ✍️

I have a question, can you explain why you wouldn't want to set direction and some priorities on what flow or features to focus on for example before you can ideate or you have a first idea and test that and then iterate from there and then you have real user data driving your design? So ideate is like a proto-prototype?
